ANYA CIARAMETARO

Board of Directors, Secretary

Anya is an educator, mom, artist, and activist. From a young age, sustainability has been at the forefront of her mind working hand-in-hand with her passion for economic and social equality. A North Shore resident for her entire life, Anya has lived in Rowley since 2019 and hit the ground running to get involved in the community. She immediately joined the Plastic Bag Reduction Coalition, jumped in to help with the community cleanup, and did a deep dive into backyard composting. Anya received her Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from Salem State University, with concentrations in Education and 3-Dimensional Art. She insists on upcycling materials in her art, thrifts most everything she owns, and donates everything that can have another life. Being able to be a part of this grassroots nonprofit is both exciting and a necessity. She hopes this amazing resource will make sustainability more accessible to the citizens of Rowley and beyond.
